Each year the Council is required by law to publish specified financial information, which includes its accounts.
The accounts are required to be produced in a standard format (‘Annual Governance and Accountability Return’) but in addition this council publishes a document (‘Accounts’) which sets out the figures in greater detail.
The Annual Governance and Accountability Return is signed by the Chairman of the meeting approving it and by the Clerk, and the Internal Audit Report is signed by the Internal Auditor. For reasons of security the signed versions are not published on this website but are retained by the Clerk and may be inspected on request.
