Parish Assembly
The Chairman of the Parish Council is required by law to convene an annual Parish Meeting, which must take place between 1 March and 1 June each year.
The Parish Meeting — also called the Parish Assembly — provides an opportunity for the Chairman of the Parish Council to give a public account of the achievements of the Parish Council and the challenges facing it and for the local government electors of the Parish to raise and discuss any matters of local interest.
While the Parish Meeting does not have formal decision-making powers, its discussions and resolutions can influence the decisions and priorities of the Parish Council.
